Heyward earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business from Southern Wesleyan University, building a foundation rooted in analytical thinking, structure, and practical decision-making. He holds the APMA and CPA designation.
In his role today, Heyward works closely with clients who want to better understand how their financial decisions connect to the life they are trying to live. Whether conversations involve preparing for retirement, managing cash flow, or addressing tax planning considerations, his focus remains on clarity, context, and guidance.
Heyward finds fulfillment in long-term client relationships, especially when thoughtful planning allows people to use their resources in ways that align with their personal priorities. One of the most meaningful parts of Heyward’s work is seeing how careful planning supports experiences clients care deeply about. He often hears from clients after long-anticipated trips, when they return with photos and stories from travels they had talked about for years. Those moments reinforce his belief that financial decisions should support what each person defines as a fulfilling life.
Outside of the office, Heyward enjoys staying close to home with his family. Family time often includes arcade games, weekend breakfasts out, and riding the golf cart around their property. Outside of family activities, he enjoys going to the gym and playing golf, when time allows.
