Heath Bartlett, APMA®

Focus

Heath has spent his career helping individuals and families connect financial decisions with the people, responsibilities, and experiences that matter to them. He values relationships that extend beyond account balances, creating room for conversations about goals, changing circumstances, and major life events before deciding on next steps.

His approach to financial planning centers on preparation, regular review, and thoughtful adjustments over time. Heath takes time to understand what clients want their money to support, then helps them organize decisions around those priorities. Experiences supporting clients through family changes, business transitions, retirement decisions, and unexpected events have reinforced the importance he places on staying engaged as circumstances evolve.

Military service and aviation also shaped the way Heath works. Serving as a U.S. Army Captain, Company Commander, and UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter pilot strengthened his appreciation for preparation, accountability, perspective, and calm decision-making. Those qualities continue to inform the way he listens, asks questions, and works alongside clients.

Heath views financial planning as work grounded in real life rather than numbers alone. He values becoming part of the broader conversations that shape a client’s life and helping people make informed decisions with a clearer understanding of their options.

Outside the Office

Travel has played a meaningful role throughout Heath’s life. Born in Sacramento, California, and raised in an Air Force family, he grew up experiencing different places and communities while his father served as a career U.S. Air Force officer and his mother built a career in education. Those early experiences sparked a lasting interest in seeing new places, meeting people, experiencing different cultures, and broadening his perspective.

That curiosity continues through travel, outdoor adventures, working out, and pleasure reading. Heath also values any opportunity to connect with his girlfriend and family, wherever they happen to gather.

Family time carries particular meaning for him. His daughter, Avika, works in travel and event planning. Her husband, Tim, serves as a Major in the Indiana National Guard, flies the F-16 as an instructor pilot, and works as a commercial pilot with Delta Air Lines. Heath especially treasures time with his granddaughter.

His personal philosophy comes back to gratitude, opportunity, and perspective. He credits the people around him for helping him reach important milestones and believes imagination, commitment, and sacrifice can open doors that once seemed out of reach.
